About Sam Maislin, Esq. former Judge
Sam Maislin has the experience of being a former State Investigator and Assistant District Attorney. Sam Maislin is a retired Criminal Justice faculty member with the title of Criminal Justice Professor at Buffalo State College. Former Professor Maislin has theoretical knowledge gained as an academic, pragmatic experience obtained from his practice of law, and judicial experience, having served as a Judge in the Amherst Town Court. The combination of his years of experience allow him to have a substantially greater insight into the realm of civil as well as criminal justice. In September 2008 the Bar Association of Erie County rated Sam Maislin as "Well Qualified" for the Office of NYS Supreme Court Justice.
In addition to the above, Professor Maislin authored several text books in an attempt to portray each side of the scale of justice to clearly educate the criminal justice reader. Rather than compile a manuscript with voluminous court citations and legal jargon, his effort was directed at providing a comprehensible preview and review of the legal system.
